Who is responsible
I am. Roy Kahuthu, trading as Lelbotics, Nairobi, Kenya, is the controller of the personal data collected on this site. Questions about your data come to me through the contact form.
What I collect
- Quizzes (Automation audit, AI Scorecard, Website diagnostic): your email, your name if you give it, and your answers.
- Contact form: your name, email, business name if you add it, the topic you pick and your message.
- Website quote calculator: your email, your name if you give it, and the options you picked.
- Free guides: your email, which guide you opened, and the tags in the link that brought you (for example, that it came from an Instagram DM).
- Audit booking: your name, email, WhatsApp number, business name, any socials or website you share, your team size, your role and the job you said takes the most hours. The booking runs through Cal.com.
- The newsletter box: whether you ticked it, and when.
One cookie, lb_reader, is set when you unlock the guides so you don't have to type your email again. It holds no personal details and lasts a year.
What I use it for
- To send what you asked for: your quiz result, the guide link, a reply to your brief.
- To get back to you about the work you asked about.
- To send the newsletter and two short follow-up emails, only if you ticked the box. The box is never ticked for you, and the guides open without it.
- To count which guides and reels bring people in.
The newsletter runs on your consent. Everything else is me doing what you asked for. I don't sell your details or hand them to anyone for their own marketing.
Who else handles it
- Supabase stores the form entries.
- Resend sends the emails and keeps the newsletter list.
- Vercel hosts the site.
- Cal.com, only if you book the audit.
These services run on servers outside Kenya, so your details are stored and processed outside Kenya.
How long I keep it
I keep form entries while they're useful for following up with you, and I delete them sooner if you ask.
Unsubscribing, and your rights
- Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link. To stop the follow-up emails, reply “stop” to any of them.
- To see what I hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, ask through the contact formand tell me which email address it's about. I'll confirm once it's done.
- If you think I've handled your data wrongly, you can complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (ODPC) in Kenya.
